Very delicate bouquet, fruity when young with raspberry and cherry aroma. Hazelnut and walnut husk become more evident after some time, with an underbrush fruit elegance. At its best after five years. The taste is soft and velvety, slightly bitterish, elegant and persistent.
Recommended with sweet and delicate meat dishes, duck, partridge, backed pork; excellent with cheese not too matured.
